About Us

About the Crows Foundation

The Adelaide Football Club prides itself on many achievements, including its leading role in the community, and in particular helping those who provide for children in need.

The Crows Foundation was born in May 2005, out of a need for the Adelaide Football Club to better manage the vast volume of requests for help and support by South Australian charities.

With a charter to help children in need the Crows Foundation operates independantly of the Adelaide Football Club and is overseen by a Board of Directors who meet at monthly board meetings.

The Crows Foundation's key charter is to raise and distribute funds for children in need across South Australia (eg: sick and disadvantaged children), through health, education and welfare programs.

100% of all funds raised are donated to charity with the Adelaide Football Club supporting its charity by covering all administrative costs.

Through the profile of the Club and the players, led by Crows Foundation Board member Jason Porplyzia, the Crows Foundation has also been able to raise awareness of numerous children's charities in SA as well as galvanise the football community, whether it be members or coterie groups, to work together to help children in need.
