The Childhood Cancer Association is thrilled to receive a grant of $4,000 from the Crows Foundation, to help us deliver our Hospital Visitation Program. Each year we make over 1000 visits to the Women’s and Children’s Hospital to support children with cancer and their families. Through the Hospital Visitation Program, our trained councillors identify the needs of the children and their families and develop early intervention strategies to meet those needs. These include referrals to the programs offered by CCA, as well as other service providers. We congratulate the work of the Crows Foundation and thank the Board of Directors for their generous donation.
The support from the Crows Foundation has ensured that nearly 20,000 breakfasts have been served to children who otherwise might go without. This makes a great difference to the lives of these kids, providing essential nutrients for their growth, health and wellbeing and helping them do better at school.
The contribution from the Crows supports the idea behind the Red Cross community nutrition program, proving that when we all work together we can make things happen.

The Crows Corporate Training session was a fantastic experience - a true money can't buy event. It was great to get behind the scenes and be provided with an understanding the routines and disciplines of the Crows players on match day and during trainings.
Having champion players, Jason Torney, Darren Jarman and Rhett Biglands run the day was also very special, both are terrific blokes but also have an enormous amount of experience that they were happy to share on the day particularly with respect to team building and discipline.
The training exercises were challenging but fun and further enhanced the team building theme of the day. Ending the day with a few beers and snacks in the players private lounge and being provided an further insight into the operations of the Adelaide Football club by John Reid was a true highlight.
On behalf of everyone that attended we would like to pass on our thanks to the club, Darren, Jason and Rhett we are hoping to book in another day next year.
A great day spent with absolute legends of the game. Perfect for those looking for that "different" intimate corporate marketing activity. I would happily recommend it to anyone very highly.
The Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF) is extremely grateful for the continued support of Crows fans and the Crows Foundation. The money raised from your generous contributions to the Ride to Cure Diabetes will fund the best and most promising
Chasing funds for any charity is inevitably enhanced by association with high profile organisations such as the Crows Foundation, infinitely more so when the sponsor is so highly respected both within the sporting fraternity and the broader business world.
Unarguably, league football today is big business which brings with it additional responsibilities other than fiscal. The public face of the Adelaide Crows has always been that of a community caring and community involved entity and their attention to community issues is widely known and respected.
We as a charitable Foundation have benefited from (even in a small way) sharing a platform with a high profile successful organisation such as the Adelaide Football Club.
With the Chairman’s Luncheon and other very public events, Professor David David AC has been provided with a platform from which to speak about the issues of treating and caring for those who need the help of Craniofacial surgery.
We happily ally ourselves with the Crows in our own Newsletter and feature the Crows logo.
All the above have increased public awareness in our cause and we are indebted to the Crows Foundation in seeing fit to include the Australian Craniofacial Foundation in the generosity.
As these teenagers have faced serious health challenges and the discomfort that cancer treatment brings throughout their lives, it was a special treat that couldn’t happen without the support of the Adelaide
A great week of fun therapy was had by all!
